The rules of engagement. Please read these terms carefully before utilizing ChaosPrep to track and optimize your exam preparation.
1. License & Intellectual Property
ChaosPrep provides tools to help you manage your academic preparation.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the application strictly for your personal, non-commercial exam preparation and study tracking.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of any part of our software, algorithms, or services without explicit written permission.

All intellectual property rights, including the design, UI/UX, code, graphics, and trademarks (ChaosPrep, sval.tech), belong exclusively to the developers.
2. Accounts & Code of Conduct
To utilize cloud syncing and the full suite of tracking tools, you must authenticate via a supported third-party provider (e.g., Google). You are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
If you use the "Accountability Squad" or "Peer" feature, you agree not to use the platform to upload, post, or transmit any custom display names, profiles, or tasks that are offensive, harmful, defamatory, or violate any laws. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse these social features.
3. No Guarantee of Exam Results
ChaosPrep is exclusively a productivity, logging, and tracking tool designed to assist students preparing for highly competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, and UPSC.
We DO NOT guarantee any specific exam outcomes, ranks, percentiles, or scores.
Your academic success depends entirely on your own rigorous effort, the quality of your study material, and your execution on the day of the exam. The analytics, "Reality Check" tools, and projections provided within the app are strictly for motivational, organizational, and self-reflection purposes only. They are not academic endorsements or promises of success.
4. Service Availability & Modification
While we obsess over uptime and strive to keep ChaosPrep online and fully functional at all times, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or completely error-free service.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue any part of the application (including specific features, UI elements, or backend integrations) at any time, with or without prior notice. We are not liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.
5. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, sval.tech and the developers of ChaosPrep shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the application. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, corrupted study logs, missed academic deadlines, or exam failures.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or directly related to these terms or your use of the application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.
